Electricians On Call, in collaboration with Yurika, part of Energy Queensland, undertook a significant solar PV and EV charging project at the AMPOL Petrol Station in Hawthorn, Victoria.

Client's Challenge

Background: Yurika aimed to upgrade the AMPOL Hawthorn station with advanced energy solutions.

Problem Statement: The project demanded the installation of a large-scale solar system and EV charging facilities, requiring careful execution to minimize operational disruptions.

Installation of a 50.96kW Solar PV grid connect system.
Setup of Ampol AmpCharge EV Charging station.
New Main Switchboard and Generator installation.
Temporary power arrangement during the shutdown.
Installation of temporary fencing and traffic/pedestrian management.
Comprehensive electrical upgrades, including underground cabling.
Installation of support systems like Unistrut, cable tray, and conduit.
Coordination with supply authority and integration with civil teams.
